Some time ago, the Center for Device Evaluation of the State Food and Drug Administration of China issued a notice on the guidelines for the registration and review of radio frequency beauty equipment, pointing out that in order to further standardize the management of radio frequency beauty equipment, the Center for Device Evaluation of the State Food and Drug Administration organized the formulation of the "Guidelines for the Registration and Review of Radio Frequency Beauty Devices in Principle".
According to the document, the radio frequency beauty instrument should be given a clear application site and purpose in the scope of application. Depending on the intended use of the product, the following normative expressions are recommended: "for the reduction of (body, face) skin wrinkles", "for the treatment of acne", "for the treatment of (body, face) atrophic scars", "for the treatment of Reduce (abdomen, flanks) subcutaneous fat", etc. For special areas such as the eyes, cheeks, and neck, the available areas and forbidden areas should be clearly shown in the form of diagrams.
For imported radio-frequency beauty instruments, if they are not managed as medical devices in the country of origin, the corresponding legal basis should be provided, as well as the certification documents that allow the product to be marketed in the country of origin.
In today's era of pursuing beauty, more and more people begin to pay attention to and practice their own beauty and skin care. With the continuous development of science and technology, household beauty instruments, as the new darling of beauty and skin care, are gradually entering the 2.0 era. This new generation of household beauty instrument perfectly combines technology and beauty, bringing consumers a new beauty experience.
Compared with traditional beauty instruments, home beauty instruments in the 2.0 era are more intelligent and portable. First of all, it adopts more advanced sensor technology and artificial intelligence algorithm, which can accurately identify skin conditions and provide personalized beauty solutions for everyone. Whether it is skin problems or skin care needs, these smart instruments can adjust and optimize the care mode based on real-time data and user settings, bringing users more accurate and effective care results.
Secondly, home beauty instruments in the 2.0 era focus on portability. Compared with the bulky instruments of the past, modern home beauty instruments are smaller and more portable, allowing users to perform beauty treatments anytime, anywhere. Whether at home, on the road, or in the office or gym, you can enjoy professional-level beauty care effects with simple operations. This portability not only makes beauty care more convenient, but also improves the frequency and effect of users.
In addition, home beauty instruments in the 2.0 era focus on multi-functional designs. In addition to traditional beauty care functions, such as cleansing, introduction, lifting and firming, etc., the new generation of home beauty devices also incorporate more functions to meet consumers' pursuit of diversified skin care needs. For example, some home beauty devices have added hot and cold compresses, which can relieve eye fatigue and puffiness, and promote blood circulation; while others have added light therapy functions, which can improve skin texture and pigmentation problems. These multi-functional designs allow users to choose the appropriate function for beauty care according to their needs and preferences.
However, due to the lack of corresponding technology and quality standards, the effect of home beauty instruments is difficult to guarantee, which leads to problems such as "exaggerated publicity" and "false publicity" that plague users of home beauty instruments. In the advertisements of home beauty instruments, it is not uncommon to see overly exaggerated statements such as "beautify easily in 15 minutes", "build a youthful skin barrier in half an hour", and "never lose face again".
On the other hand, there are many safety hazards in some household beauty instruments. The Southern Metropolis Daily of China conducted a survey on beauty devices, showing that 45.54% of the respondents said that they had encountered safety problems in the process of using beauty devices. Among them, 16.12%, 15.28%, and 12.45% of the interviewees had encountered problems of excessive heavy metals, electric leakage, poor contact, and skin burns. It is worth noting that due to the lack of supervision and access standards before, even if the beauty instrument brand is boycotted by consumers due to safety issues, it can still be "reincarnated" through the new brand.
With the promulgation and landing of new regulations, opportunities and challenges coexist in China's beauty device market in the future. The new regulation will make the beauty instrument market get rid of the situation of uneven quality. Under the premise of high standards and strict requirements, with the addition of more new professional teams, more new products are likely to be born in the market.
